I created this club because I have developed a detailed fantasy world, and wanted to share it. If you check out the Featured Deviation, you'll be able to read about the world's places, a couple people, several races/sub-groups, and the way magic works.

To join, send a Note to ~The-Collegia with a link to your character submission. Devwatching will let you keep up with new characters and club announcements. Once we get an avatar, promoting us would be appreciated.

The club is not restricted to any one form of expression: Role-play, prose fiction, and art are all welcome. For purposes of role-play, we do have a chatroom, #TheCollegia, and there are some pretty standard rules.

1: Original characters only. This is my world, and I can assure you that no one from Yu-Gi-Oh, FMA, or any other previously defined work is here. Besides, there are other rooms for RP in those worlds.

2: RP content must be PG-13. Personally, I don't care what you do with your characters in your own rooms, but the main room must stay at a level that a random sheltered minor (or staff member) won't have their eyes seared.

Note: If you are of age (18 or older), and wish to submit yaoi or adult-oriented male pics or fictions/RP logs to the club, you will be referred to the Y!G branch of the club.

3: That being said, any form of relationship between characters is allowable, regardless of gender or race. If you're not comfortable with that, be sure your RP partner(s) is/are aware of that.

4: Supposedly we're all reasonably intelligent and mature. Show it. Treat people the way you'd like to be treated, and don't use chat-speak or leet-speak. Paragraph format is preferred.

Example: Perry walked slowly up to the massive gates of Kyran Collegium. His father's caravan was already departing, leaving him with nothing more than the saddlebag of his belongings. "He didn't even let me go home to say goodbye to Mother," he said softly.


5: NO spamming or thumbnailing. If you want to show off a piece you've done, just copy in the full web address and it will show up as a link. Brief descriptions are nice, so that we don't think you're sending us to something we'd rather not see.

6: Out of character interactions should be kept to a minimum and MUST use brackets, even only at one end. (, {, [, |, ], }, and ) are all acceptable brackets.

7: Promotion will be based on merit, and at the discretion of the Derwydd (Operators). To request or recommend a promotion, Note The-Collegia and give a reason. Notes simply saying "Promote me" will be ignored. Notes saying "Pr0|\/|073 |\/|33!!!1!!!" will be mocked. Openly. (That hurt to write)

In a change from other RP clubs, character contributions will be in the form of deviations submitted by Note to the club. Characters will be grouped by member name and linked to your gallery/Scraps. Here is an example of a character template:

Extra: Wyden is an inn-keeper, and runs the Silver Wyvern with his wife. He prides himself on discretion when it comes to his guests, and as a source of information when it comes to anything else. Can usually tell you where in Seprikas to find what or who you’re looking for.
Seme or Uke: n/a

Note: Seme means dominant, Uke means submissive. Wyden is marked n/a because he's not going to be interacting that way with player characters, being married and faithful. "Switch" is also a possible entry for the last category.

If you have a picture of your character, you can thumbnail or link it to your description, or put your description in the Artist Comments of the picture. This allows you to update your character as needed (history details, change in status, etc.)
